Lady Gaga: Oh, where to start...

Ok, let me first say that there was a time where I seemed to be the only person I knew who did not know who Lady Gaga was.

And I kinda wish I didn't.

Don't get me wrong, she's not...bad. I mean, sure, at first I didn't really wanna like her. Because everyone else did, and I didn't really see anything outstanding about her music. But then, I actually listened to a few of her songs...and they were catchy. *grumbles incoherently*

Maybe TOO catchy.

Seriously, those songs just dig their way into your skull and bounce around in there until you acknowledge the fact that it's there. And then you start humming it. And then you start singing it out loud. And then you drag yourself over to your computer and Youtube a bunch of her music videos.

Well, maybe not you, but that's what I did.

I just recently watched the video for "Bad Romance" for the first time. I was seriously considering sleeping with all the lights on that night. Seriously, that video was just plain CREEPY. Especially the parts where she's in pink and in the bath tub, and her eyes are all big and bug-like... *shudders*

And really, you can't mention Lady Gaga without mentioning her wardrobe at least once.

I grudgingly respect her "I couldn't care less what you think of how I look" attitude. I mean, really, that woman has got to have absolutely no self-consciousness in her to dress the way she does. It's obviously for attention, but still, most people would *cringe* at the mere thought of themselves wearing something she wears, and she actually wears the stuff.

But hey, easy Halloween costume opportunity. Just find a bunch of assorted wacky clothes and/or household appliances, put them on half-hazard-ly (is that a word?) so you look like you're from another planet, and TA-DA! You're Lady Gaga!
